I just finished this one! It was such a fun and light book but it also didn’t ignore real emotions. I was super impressed with how it made me feel all the feels- it was heartwarming, relatable, silly and emotional. I would highly recommend it. I have a feeling that horse lovers will relate to the struggles of being a tween/new teen and balancing school, family, friends and horses. Trying to fit in with all the #Horsegirls without becoming too much like them. And of course the feeling of finding your heart horse, which for Willa was the amazing Clyde Lee! I also loved the fact filled aspect of it. There were tons of comments about the real life horse world while still from Wills’ perspective.
I even found my new word… Blergh!
You can tell that Carrie Seim’s passion and love for horses shines through this amazing book. I can’t wait to read it again!
